Our History - New Haven, CT

The Scandone family has been in the business of sound since 1922 when my grandfather, the late Salvatore Scandone became fascinated by the emergence of radio and sound amplification.

Sal experimented with the earliest components of his time and eventually formed the M & S Sound company.  Named after he and his wife, Mary. Salvatore would go on to design, install, and rent the very first audio systems used commercially in New Haven, on the campuses of Yale University, and in the city's many houses of worship.

PASCOM was established in 1984 by my father, the late Peter A. Scandone, Sr., Salvatore's youngest son.  Peter's great ambition, after spending most of his career as co-owner of M & S Sound,
was to develop true "next generation" sound systems. After developing a plan, he launched his own company.

After completing my education  in applied physics and mathematics, I joined my father. Together, our individual talents have produced the innovative designs that our clientele rely on everyday. Their trust in our expertise has changed the landscape of audio reinforcement throughout our home state of Connecticut, and beyond.

Dedicated to continuing the pioneering traditions of my father and grandfather.
